After graduating in Medicine from Bangalore Medical College I went on to complete my post graduation in ENT from Bangalore Medical College with sub-specialty training in Head & Neck Oncology from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology (MS, DNB). I was awarded the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003 for training in General Surgery at Colchester followed by Diploma in Otolaryngology DOHNS (London). I underwent higher surgical training in ENT at all the major NHS teaching hospitals in the North East of England(Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Carlisle), and later on at Oxford & Winchester. During this period I acquired specialist training in all major subspecialty niches of ENT in a multidisciplinary environment (Otology/Neuro-otology, Rhinology/Facial Plastic, Voice, Head and Neck Oncology and Paediatric ENT). I passed the intercollegiate exit exam for Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery in 2008. Later on I was awarded Canadian Otolaryngology Fellowship to train in Head and Neck / Microvascular surgery from Dalhousie University Canada. I was actively involved in teaching and training junior doctors and residents throughout my training and active clinical practice. I currently work at People Tree Hospitals Bangalore.
